Two Days of the Season Under Our Belts

So I went out the morning of opening day and the following evening on the 25th for a hunt. In total this season I've got about 13 hours in the stand and I've seen zero deer. My buddy who I set up in one of my stands on a property I hunt saw 4 opening day but decided to let them walk in hopes of seeing more. Although we haven't a ton of deer I know if you're not in the stand you're never going to put any on the ground. Stand tuned for more updates.

New Trail Cam Pictures

So this is the last time I'll check my trail cameras before opening day. I'm hopeful that I'll get a doe Saturday which will leave me all season to be picky about bucks. I've been really impressed with the quality of Wildgame Innovations trail cameras. Here is the trail camera that I've been using. They were relatively cheap but have produced good pictures. Check out the Wildgame Innovations S22 2.0 MP Digital Game Scouting Camera with Strobe Flash. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for an inexpensive trail camera.

Here are a few pictures from one of my trail cameras I have set up. Hopefully I'll have some more pictures coming soon.

Pre-Season Setups

So the Deer Season is quickly approaching. Here in Ohio opening day is September 24. As every hunter knows one key to a successful season is getting out early and scouting your hunting ground. Here are a few pictures from a couple of tree stands I have up on some commonly traveled paths on the property I'll be hunting the 24th.
